Beginnings of Angela Neel

Angel Neel has always had a passion for art and design. From a young age, she felt drawn to furniture arrangement and an affinity for drawing. This is what led her to attend the Ringling College of Art and Design where she got her classical training in art and design and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts. For years, she worked commercial advertising but she felt limited by the lack of dimensionality. That is what led to her interest in going back to school to earn her degree in Interior Design.

Upon finishing school, she went to work as an assistant for prominent interior designer that gave her critical advice which shaped the remainder of her career. After completing her time there, she went on to work in a drapery showroom where she received valuable guidance from a mentor that encouraged her to start her own business.

Where Did Angela Neel Interiors Get Its Start?

From there, Angela Neel began her own business out of her house. She gathered connections and built up her business over time, gaining momentum and started doing model homes for a national home builder. She successfully completed ninety model homes over a period of three years with a very small staff. With that, she was able to build up a name for herself not only among her vendors but among her residential clients.

Her determination and her drive made her business what it is today. Angela Neel saw something in herself that she knew would help others achieve their dream interior design look and she sought to build up her expertise so that she could create a business that would truly make a difference and flourish all on her own.
